- SOUP SEASON
Our family really enjoys this season; the weather is perfect, it’s a big harvesting time, the styles, and just all the things above that we enjoy doing!
Each season we have many traditions in our family, Fall probably has the most. We take it all in! From indulging in seasonal foods to dressing up for trick or treating.
We watch all our favorite Fall/Halloween movies all month long. What’s your fav movie of the season? We love Hocus Pocus, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas & the Harry Potter movies!
We’ve already checked off some of these things like decorating, fall crafts(leaf crayon art, hanging ghost), and harvesting the rest of our garden. Our granny smith apple tree is all ready to be harvested – yum!
We make my delicious Apple Pie every season, which is always a hit.
Fall is the beginning of baking season for me, sure I cook/bake all year. But during the Fall & Winter the kitchen is very busy. Not only am I going to make all our FAVS, also cinnamon rolls, Greek cookies, soups, and so much more.
A couple years ago, I made this Pumpkin Chocolate Cake & it was seriously the best. It’s a mix of pumpkin bread and chocolate cake.
the best fall dessert!

In case you’re looking for a great fall recipe, this Sausage Stuffed Acorn Squash is perfect!
We’ll also be enjoying a few bonfires now that there’s no burn ban, we have a lot of yard waste to burn, and a lot of ‘smores to be eaten!
DON’T MISS THIS GRAHAM CRACKER COOKIE RECIPE!
And don’t forget to spend a lot of time outdoors! Pumpkin patches, in our garden, and then some hiking. We really want to go back to the waterfall, and check out all the beautiful Fall foliage. Of course I also want to go mushroom hunting, look for some oyster or chanterelles.
Soak in as much of Autumn as we can!
