Halloween and Fall activities are bigger and better than what they have been the past couple years! Get out there this season, and have some fun!
Every Fall/Halloween my family and I take in all things pumpkin and spooky, we love participating in all the festivities leading up to All Hallows Eve, and of course the kids love getting candy!

Pumpkin Patches
•Creek House FarmUnfortunately, they announced they won’t be opening their pumpkin patch this year.
They raise organic, heirloom pumpkins and open the farm to the public in the fall for u-pick pumpkins, farm animals to visit, autumn crafts, a hay ride, a pumpkin play area, and many opportunities for photos! By appointment only.

•Pheasants Field Farm
Info from 2021 – “We will be ready to open up for corn maze tickets & pumpkin sales Oct. 1st at 10am until 6 pm and those hours are daily until Oct. 31st. except for Sunday. Sunday’s our hours are from noon until 6 pm. We are a leashed dog-friendly place and we require all guests to be wearing face masks to be admitted to our farm!!! We hope to see you!!! There is no admittance cost or parking fee to visit our farm!”

Small family farm that you can come pick pumpkins at, open weekends on the Key Peninsula!

•Harbor Farms
We will be open for our fall festival/pumpkin patch Friday-Sunday starting September 27 through the end of October. Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Western town play area, outdoor games, photo ops, and 90 farm visit. Reservations only.

•Artondale Farms
More of a farm stand, but you can still get pumpkins and other seasonal products. We’re open Friday-Sunday 11-5 beginning the first weekend in April and running through Christmas Eve.

Fun Fall Events
I’ll try and keep this post as updated as I can. So, come back often! If it’s crossed out, I just haven’t seen any info yet, but that doesn’t mean the event’s not happening.
All Season Long:
•Libraries hold events all season long, most if not all, are free. Check out your local library, if it requires registration be sure to sign up quickly as they fill up fast.
Kitsap County Library
•Check out your local arts and crafts small business’, as many are hosting fall themed nights.
•Every Friday & Saturday in October & Oct 31 – Port Gamble Ghost Walk – A three-hour guided tour of the history and paranormal in one of Washington State’s oldest towns. Purchase tickets on their site. Ages 16+
•October 1-October 31, 2024 –Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk – free admission. People of all ages come to walk along Bainbridge Gardens’ historic Nature Trail, to view hundreds of hand designed pumpkins. For many families, the Pumpkin Walk has become a Halloween tradition. Food truck available each Saturday in October.

September 19th – October 7th
Drop-off clean, outgrown, no longer needed children’s Halloween costumes and accessories.
Saturday October 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 10am – 12pm
Come swap or “shop” for a “new-to-you” costume!
•Scarecrow Display of Downtown Port Orchard – Starting October 18th, scarecrows can be displayed at the Port Orchard Market or at a downtown business. The contest is open to families, individuals, businesses, not for profit organizations, if you’d like to participate in displaying a scarecrow check out this post.

•September 5, 2024 Special Early Showing of Beetlejuice – Rodeo Drive-In in Bremerton is re-opening Thursday Sept 5 for a special showing of Beetlejuice. Show at 8pm, get your tickets before they sell out.
•September 7, 2024 – Tween Movie & Craft Afternoon: Beetlejuice Bainbridge Island Library, 3PM-5PM. Grades 5-8 only. Beat the back-to-school blues with a Saturday movie afternoon! Before the sequel hits theaters, catch up on the cult classic franchise with the original Beetlejuice (1988). Rated PG. Come along to make a Beetlejuice-themed craft during the movie with help from Bainbridge Island Museum of Art educator, Nic Schluter. Snacks provided. Comfy clothes recommended.
•September 7, 2024 Poulsbo Kids Day – 10AM-2PM in the College Marketplace parking lot in front of 1st Security Bank. Bring the family out for a day of bike rodeo, craft booths, fire truck and so much more! Special 11am guest performance by the amazing kid’s band ‘Recess Monkeys’ – back for one of their first post pandemic performances. Food trucks, raffles, fun, and community connection! This FREE annual event benefits North Kitsap Fishline. Bring non-perishable food or cash donation and get a chance to win an extra cool prize! Best for ages 0-9.
•September 12, 2024 Oktoberfest Stein Night – 4pm-9pm in Bremerton. Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls because Silver City Brewery’s Oktoberfest Stein Night is returning! 21+ only
•September 21, 2024 Poulsbrew – 12pm-6pm Muriel Iverson Waterfront Park in Poulsbo for brews, food, live music, and fun! 21+ only
•September 28, 2024 – Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
•September 28, 2024 – Fall Charcuterie – at It’s All About Art in Port Orchard, 1:00PM. We will greet the fall in the garden next to the pond. There are four painting possibilities. See the discussion below and vote For your fav. We will paint and enjoy cheese and crackers and spirits. Sign up soon. Limited seating We will move inside if it’s raining.
•September 29, 2024 – 4th Annual Ciderhaus Oktoberfest – Poulsbo, 12pm. We will have delicious food specials, Oktoberfest beer sampling and pairing from local breweries, a live band with the fun ‘Hometown Band’ showcasing local talent with their brass and upbeat Bavarian melodies, and even some fun games for the entire family.
•September 16, 2023 – Harvest Party on the Lawn in Poulsbo – 10am-4pm. Museum Campus Lawn. Fall is in the air! Join us for fun treats, hot apple cider and cocoa, and lawn games and fall crafts!
•September 23, 2023 – Harvest Tea Party – Bremerton, 2-4pm. The West Side Improvement Club is hosting another Tea Party. This will be a Harvest Tea Party for the whole family. We will provide a variety of teas, sandwiches, cookies, and more as well as fun entertainment such as crafts and games. Tickets are only $20 per person. Very limited tickets will be sold at the door, so reserve your table today.
October 1-6:
•October 5, 2024 Community Carnival – 12pm-3pm on Bainbridge Island. Join us for an afternoon of family-friendly games, prizes, live music and tasty local food for purchase. The Carnival is free and open to the public. Register today!
•October 6, 2024 – Harvest Sunday at Bible Baptist Church in Port Orchard – 10:30-11:30AM FALL IS HERE! Come join us for Harvest Sunday. More details coming soon.
October 7-13:
•October 9, 2024 – Crafternoon: Mini Burlap Pumpkin– Manchester Library, 4-5PM. Age 6 to 12 are invited to create a no-sew seasonal craft–a mini burlap pumpkin. *Space and materials are limited. First come, first serve. Younger siblings welcome with an adult to assist.
•October 11-12, 2024 – Trick or Tree: Glow in the dark egg hunt – Olmstead Tree Farms in Poulsbo. Don’t miss out on this fun family friendly event ! You’ll scour our Christmas tree field where thousands of hidden candy and toy-filled eggs are just waiting to be found, in the dark. After filling your bucket you can wander through our Spooky Woods, take a farm trolley ride, and check out a fire truck. We are offering multiple nights in October and hope you’ll join us for this premier and unique event! But don’t delay, tickets are limited!
•October 7, 2023 – Pumpkin Fest at Port Orchard Farmers Market – 9am-2pm. Come enjoy kids fall activities, purchase pumpkins from our farmers enjoy the photo booth! Local potter, Sallie Nau with Salllie’s Custom Clayworks will be hosting a Paint your Own Pumpkin Event. Pumpkins are ceramic and will have to be picked up the following week. $15 for plain pumpkin and $20 for Jack O’ Lantern. Comes with a glowing light.
•October 7, 2023 – NW Glass Pumpkin Patch Poulsbo – at Valley Nursery, 9am-3pm. Wander through a dazzling array of over 2,000 handblown glass pumpkins in a variety of colors, shapes & prices ranges. Come pick the perfect pumpkin made by local and other North American glass artists. Average prices range from $35-85. These glass art pumpkins are perfect for the autumn season, yet beautiful enough to display year-round. Come pick the perfect pumpkin for yourself or as a gift.
October 14-20:
•October 15-17, 2024 – Haunted Hayride on Bainbridge Island – at Battle Point Park, 5:30-9pm. $12 per person, registration required.
•October 18-20, 2024(two weekends) – Harvest Festival at Miracle Ranch – Free admission, Join us for a fall family outing at Miracle Ranch! This event is the quintessential family-friendly fall outing, with activities to keep your family in the harvest spirit. (Please do NOT bring pets with you.) •October 19, 2024 $5 Movie of Hocus Pocus – Come watch the Halloween favorite at Bremerton’s Admiral Theater. Two show times to choose from; 3PM and 7PM.
October 21-27:

•October 25, 2024 – Pumpkin Painting – Bremerton Sylvan Way Library, 3:30-4:30PM. Pumpkin Painting returns to Sylvan. We will use acrylic paint, so please plan to dress accordingly. Save your costumes and don’t wear them yet, they might get paint on them! Please register each child attending for supplies.
•October 25, 2024 – Teen Fright Night Lock In – Bainbridge Island Library, 6:30-9PM. Spend an evening locked in where you’ll need your wits to survive! Make zombie Barbies, watch a scary movie, and much, much more! *Registration is preferred but not required.

•October 26, 2024 – Make Your Own Ofrenda – Bainbridge Island Library, 11AM-1PM. Come and learn how to assemble a kid friendly altar for Día de los Muertos! We will have supplies available to decorate. Feel free to bring photos of ancestors or loved ones that have passed (or a copy).
•October 26, 2024 – Ghosts in the Graveyard – First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Poulsbo. More information coming soon.
•October 26, 2024 – Bay Street BOO BASH! 3-5PM. Trick or treating from 3-5pm at participating downtown businesses. The Port Orchard branch of Kitsap Regional Library is providing a story told from place to place that you can follow along, starting at Josephine’s Merchantile ( 701 Bay Street). No matter where you jump in, just follow the arrows and look for the STOP FOR CANDY signs.
•October 26, 2024- Ghost Train Ride at Kitsap Live Steamers– Tickets on sale soon! 5-9pm. Kitsap Foster Care Association’s biggest fundraiser of the year! Presented with the generous support of Kitsap Live Steamers and other community partners. Come and ride the train through the spooky park!
•October 21-22, 2023 – The Haunt at WSIC– In Bremerton, 6:30PM-11PM, all ages, $5 suggested donation. Do you dare go inside? You may come face to wicked face with witches, ghouls, monsters or villains from your worst nightmares.
October 28-31:
•October 29, 2024 – Make Seabeck Glow in Seabeck, 9AM-6PM – Members and non-members alike are welcome. Join us in creating your favorite pumpkins for display in Seabeck this year. Enjoy a day connecting with family and friends. Light refreshments will be available. *We have 50 pumpkins ready to be carved or bring your own. Limited carving supplies will be available, so bring your own carving tools!
•October 31, 2024 – Teen Halloween at Bainbridge Island. Come to the Teen Center after school on Halloween for a yummy treat and fun activities! 3:00-6:00p
•October 31, 2024 – Halloween Parade and Trick-Or-Treat Bremerton Sylvan Way Library, 11AM-12PM. Join us for a Storytime followed by a Halloween Parade! Costumes are welcome, but not necessary. We will parade throughout the library and trick-or-treat along the way! The decorations will be friendly and age appropriate.
•October 31 – Spooktacular Preschool Halloween Bash at Poulsbo Parks & Rec – more details to come.
•October 31, 2024 Old Town Silverdale Haunted Halloween Celebration – 4-9PM, The public is invited to come and celebrate this family friendly haunted downtown trick or treat event. Enjoy mapping the downtown urban garden trail for fun Treats meeting your neighbors and community members.
•October 31, 2024- Trick or Treating through Historic Downtown Poulsbo – Watch out for ghosts, goblins and witches roaming the streets of Historic Downtown Poulsbo looking for candy treats from local merchants. For the safety of the children, Front Street will be closed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy live music and a fun and safe atmosphere for the kids.
•October 31, 2024 – Halloween Trick or Treat in Port Gamble – starting at 1pm trick or treat the Port Gamble Businesses, and goes until 5pm.
•October 31, 2024 – Trunk or Treat in Bremerton – Sylvan Way Church, 5pm-7pm
•October 27, 2023 Hit the Hay Fall Festival – The Coffee Oasis, Join us for food, games, festivities, and tons of candy (for ages 13-25)! ALL FREE!

•October 29, 2023 – Trunk or Treat at South Kitsap High School – Put on by Newlife Church in Port Orchard, 5-7PM. Come to the South Kitsap High School dressed up in your Halloween costume and go trunk to trunk for lots of candy! It will be a family friendly event with coffee for parents to keep you warm!
•October 29, 2023 – Haunted Gym at Sound Elite Athletics – Port Orchard, 6-8pm. $5 per kid, ages 5 and up
•October 30 & 31, 2023 – Halloween Buggy Bash at Bug & Reptile Museum in Bremerton – 10am-5pm. Swing by to touch some critters and collect a free treat while supplies last!
•October 31 – Downtown Bremerton Trick or Treat – Celebrate Downtown Bremerton’s 25th Annual Trick-Or-Treat Street on Halloween night from 5:00pm–7:30pm.
The streets of 4th and Pacific will be shut down to cars for a safe area for your small ghouls, goblins, and fairy tale creatures to roam safely. Enjoy free Trick-or-Treating by participating businesses, a costumed puppy parade care of Gastro Pup (contact them for more details!), touch-a-truck care of Bremerton Fire Department, Bremerton Police Department, and Clark Construction, as well as a festive photo booth, and FREE parking available at the garage on Washington at 4th Street!
•October 31 – Hometown Halloween Bainbridge Island – An all ages Island tradition, continues this year on October 31st, from 4:00-6:00pm on Winslow Way in downtown Bainbridge.
•October 31 – Halloween Party at Kidimu on Bainbridge Island – Join us for our FREE outdoor Halloween Party on the Plaza on 10/31 from 1pm – 4pm. We will be celebrating with pumpkin science, painting ghosts & pumpkins, trick-or-treating, and more!
•October 31, 2023 – Truck or Treat (Bremerton) – Starts at 5PM. West Side Improvement Club in Bremerton will be hosting the annual Neighborhood Halloween Celebration with a haunted Clubhouse, Trunk or Treat, and the Spooky Cafe will be open and selling a variety of delicious food and drinks. This is a free, all-ages event.
•October 31, 2023 – Trunk or Treat FWC Kitsap in Port Orchard – 5:30pm-7:30pm, This is a community event and the public is welcome! Everything is free and you won’t find a better way to spend Halloween. With over 50 trunks, there is an abundance of candy! We can’t wait to see you there!
•October 31, 2023 – Trunk or Treat at First Christian Church of Port Orchard – 5:30-7:30PM
•October 31, 2023 – Halloween Hullabaloo & Trunk or Treat – In Kingston, 5-7PM Come out to the church for Trunk or Treat, enjoy free refreshments, games, and plenty of family fun.
•October 31, 2023 – Fall Festival at Christian Life Center – Port Orchard, 6:30-8:00PM
