There’s something magical about fall in Kitsap County. Crisp mornings, colorful leaves, pumpkin patches, hayrides, corn mazes, and warm apple cider make this one of our family’s favorite seasons of the year.
Every autumn, we make it a tradition to explore as many local pumpkin patches and fall festivals as we can. Whether we’re picking out the perfect pumpkin, wandering through a corn maze, or enjoying a festive community event, there’s always something new to discover.
If you’re looking for family-friendly fall fun around Kitsap County, you’ve come to the right place! I’ve gathered some of the best pumpkin patches, farms, and seasonal events to help you plan an unforgettable autumn adventure. Pumpkin Patches & Corn Mazes
♥Fat Turnip Farms – Kingston
Looking for a classic pumpkin-picking experience? Fat Turnip Farms is a local favorite where you can pick out pumpkins while also browsing their farm stand filled with seasonal produce and goodies.
♥Suyematsu Farms – Bainbridge Island
This Bainbridge Island tradition offers pumpkins along with a charming farm atmosphere that’s perfect for families. It’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon enjoying the beauty of fall.
♥Hunter Family Farm – Union
Although it’s just outside Kitsap County, Hunter Family Farm is well worth the short drive. There is something for everyone. Tractor rides, corn maze, barn animals, food vendors, fresh produce, ice cream and don’t forget our famous Hunter Farms grilled corn! Dogs are allowed on leashes.
♥Colello’s Farm Stand – Port Orchard
Colello’s Farm Stand creates a cozy pumpkin patch experience each fall. While smaller than some of the larger farms, it’s perfect for grabbing pumpkins, fresh produce, and taking beautiful family photos.
Near Kitsap County – Key Peninsula & Gig Harbor
♥Harbor Farms – Gig Harbor
Harbor Farms offers a full fall farm experience complete with; pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Western town play area, outdoor games, photo ops, and 90 farm visit. Reservations required, so check ahead before visiting.
♥Artondale Farms – Gig Harbor
Artondale Farms Stand is another excellent stop for locally grown pumpkins, seasonal produce, and fall decorations. Open beginning the first weekend in April and running through Christmas Eve.
Harvest Festivals
→September 19 – Harvest Party at Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church – 2:00pm – 4:00pm for games, face painting, tractor rides, and more. A wonderful event for all ages. 9300 Nels Nelson Bremerton WA

→October 4 – Harvest Sunday at Bible Baptist Church in Port Orchard – 10:30-11:30AM
→October 16-18 & October 23-25(two weekends) – Harvest Festival at Miracle Ranch – Harvest Fest at Miracle Ranch is fun for the whole family, offering a variety of FREE and affordable activities for all ages. (Please do NOT bring pets with you.) There are some paid activities though and you can rent a cabin for the weekend, click the link for all the details.
→October 24 – Market Trick or Treat at Port Orchard Farmers Market – Get ready for some harvest fun! Bring the kiddos, gather your friends, and come down to the Fall Fun Fest at the market. Costumes are encouraged! Kids are invited to trick-or-treat with our market vendors, and there will be lots of activities to enjoy.
→September 26, 2025 – Pumpkin Palooza – Family Night at Christian Life Center. Bring the whole family for a Pumpkin Palooza full of pumpkin snacks, pumpkin themed games, pumpkin decorating, and more pumpkin fun! →October 4, 2025 Harvest Party at Woodpecker Hill Farms – 11am-2pm. “We thank our customers with a fun day at the farm. Hayrides, hay maze, candy in the hay, face painting, and much more! You don’t want to miss this fall event! Bring a bag of candy to share.”
→October 18, 2025 – Southworth Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival – Port Orchard, 10am-3pm “We’re so excited to invite you to our Southworth Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival!
Halloween & Trunk-or-treat Events
→October 22-25 – Halloweekend – Port Orchard’s Annual Downtown Trick or Treat event, Boo Bash, has been reimagined and redesigned to be safer, sustainable and more merchant friendly. Wear your costume downtown and join in the weekend of fun!

→October 24 – Kitsap Halloween Bash – 1-4pm. Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Bring the whole family to our FREE, all-ages Halloween event! Enjoy Trunk or Treat and live music outside, then head indoors for a DJ and dance party you won’t want to miss.
→October 31 – Trick or Treating through Historic Downtown Poulsbo – For the safety of the children, Front Street will be closed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
→October 31 – Spooktacular Preschool Halloween Bash at Poulsbo Parks & Rec – 3:30-5pm. Dress up as your favorite character! We are HOWLing for a HALLOWEEN this year! This is a FREE Event! Geared for Family Fun for your Pre-Schoolers!
→October 31 – Hometown Halloween Bainbridge Island – 4:00-6:00pm on Winslow Way in downtown Bainbridge. Downtown merchants welcome all ghosts and goblins, witches and warlocks to ramble Winslow Way in search of tasty treats, spooky tunes and more!
→October 31 – Halloween Trick or Treat in Port Gamble – starting at 1pm trick or treat the Port Gamble Businesses, and goes until 5pm.
→October 31 – Downtown Bremerton Trick or Treat – Celebrate Downtown Bremerton’s Annual Trick-Or-Treat Street on Halloween night from 5:00pm–7:30pm. Pacific Street, 4th Street, & Quincy Square. Enjoy a family-friendly experience with local business trick or treating, spooky live music, and more! FREE parking is available at the garage on Washington at 4th Street!
→November 7-15 – Dia de los Muertos – Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. The museum will be transformed by Community Celebrations that are memorable, beautiful, and deeply rooted in cultural significance.
→October 4, 2025 – Port Orchard Witches Paddle – 11am Launch time. Calling all witches (and brave warlocks too)! Grab your paddleboards or kayaks, don your best Halloween costumes, and join us for a magical paddle on the Port Orchard Waterfront
→October 5, 2025 Trunkival at Peninsula Bible Fellowship – 2:30pm-4:30pm. Wear your favorite costume and come play fun games, enjoy cotton candy and corn dogs, and earn tickets to redeem for cool prizes. →October 25, 2025 – Little Pumpkin Halloween Festival – Bremerton, 12pm-4pm. The fall magic is back, and bigger than ever! Join us at Little Pumpkins Festival for a day packed with family fun, sweet treats, and autumn vibes.

→October 26, 2025 – Trunk or Treat at South Kitsap High School – Put on by Newlife Church in Port Orchard, 5-7PM. With 45+ trunks, food truck, and free coffee for the parents it will be a wonderful night for your whole family! Invite your friends, wear your costumes (don’t forget your candy bag) and we will see you there!
→October 26, 2025 – Haunted Gym – Sound Elite in Port Orchard, 6-8pm, $8 + tax. Brave our Halloween obstacle course—packed with spooky ghosts, creepy spiders, and surprises that go bump in the gym! Trunk or Treat in the parking lot with local businesses!
→October 28, 2025 – Trunk or Treat in Silverdale – 6-8pm, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Silverdale 6th/Brownsville Trunk or treat in parking lot and fall fair games inside the cultural hall. RSVP here.
→October 31, 2025 – Trunk or Treat in Bremerton – Sylvan Way Church, 5pm-7pm

→October 31, 2025 – Halloween Hullabaloo & Trunk or Treat – In Kingston, 5-7PM Come out to the church for Trunk or Treat, enjoy free refreshments, games, and plenty of family fun.
Family Activities
→Libraries hold events all season long, most if not all, are free. Check out your local library, if it requires registration be sure to sign up quickly as they fill up fast.
Kitsap County Library
→Check out your local arts and crafts small business’, as many are hosting fall themed nights. A few to check are; Hollydays Coffee House, Yoked Farmhouse, Kraft with Kaitlyn
→September 12 Poulsbo Kids Day – 10AM-2PM in the College Marketplace parking lot in front of 1st Security Bank. Bring the family out for a day of bike rodeo, craft booths, fire truck and so much more! This FREE annual event benefits North Kitsap Fishline. Bring non-perishable food or cash donation and get a chance to win an extra cool prize!
→September 17 & October 27 – Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
→September 29-November 1 – Bloedel Reserve Squash Hunt – Experience the magic of autumn at Bloedel Reserve. Wander the trails surrounded by brilliant fall color as you join our Annual Squash Hunt. Pick up a map and search for decorative squash tucked throughout the gardens. All Squash Hunt activities are included with the price of admission. Timed tickets are recommended.
→October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 & 24 – Trick or Tree: Glow in the dark egg hunt – Olmstead Tree Farms in Poulsbo. Trick or Tree is jam-packed with fun for the whole family including thousands of hidden candy eggs, a 30-minute family stage show, DJ dance party, trolley ride, candy grab, climbing hay tower, Spooky Woods walk, family games, a real fire truck, and more!
→Scarecrow Display of Downtown Port Orchard – Starting October 18th, scarecrows can be displayed at the Port Orchard Market or at a downtown business. The contest is open to families, individuals, businesses, not for profit organizations, if you’d like to participate in displaying a scarecrow check out this post.
→October 1-October 31, 2025 –Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk – free admission. People of all ages come to walk along Bainbridge Gardens’ historic Nature Trail, to view hundreds of hand designed pumpkins. For many families, the Pumpkin Walk has become a Halloween tradition. Food truck available each Saturday in October.
→October 3-4, 2025 U-Pick Pumpkin Patch – Poulsbo, Pick your own pumpkin at GRACE’s annual U-Pick event! The proceeds from our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch goes toward the purchase of seeds, soil and other materials to help our program continue providing our neighbors with fresh, delicious and nutritious food all year long!
Haunted Attractions & Ghost Tours
→October 16 & 17 – Haunted Heronswood at Heronswood Garden in Kingston, 5-9pm. Trick or treat! Join us at Heronswood for our annual festival of fright, with creepy characters wandering the grounds, spooky spectres in the woodland, and a chilling display of lights. We provide a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat along our illuminated pumpkin trail, and a Trail of Terror for the older kids. Food and drink available to buy. Booking not required, buy tickets at gate.
→October 20-22 – Haunted Hayride on Bainbridge Island – at Battle Point Park, 5:30pm-9pm, $14-16 register here.
→ Port Gamble Ghost Walk Every Friday & Saturday in October & Nov 1 – A three-hour guided tour of the history and paranormal in one of Washington State’s oldest towns. Purchase tickets on their site. Ages 16+
