Distilled Bath & Body are the creators of an all-natural deodorant, Pit Liquor, which uses organic whiskey and vodka as the active ingredients.

This past year I’ve been making changes to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. At first the thought was a little overwhelming but with companies like Distilled Bath & Body make the change easy. Still smell great and feel refreshed without the fear of what you’re putting on your body and into the environment.

Yes, to less waste!

Over the past 6 months I’ve really noticed the amount of plastic we use and throw away – it’s been a real eye opener. Before even opening the box to my Distilled Bath & Body products I knew I was going to love the company. It was all wrapped in eco-friendly materials, even the tape! I was sold! All the personal touches, including the paper Earth’s, you can tell the company cares about their customers AND the environment! They use glass bottles and have a recycling program if you send back bottles you receive a discount code. Also check out there refill bottle program or rewards program and earn points for credit.

Why Liquor Deodorant?

The founders wanted to create something that was healthy and effective, a product so pure you could eat it. The truth is so many deodorants on the market are packed with bad chemicals and not worth the health risk. They began their journey in the kitchen using the best antibacterial their liquor cabinet had to offer: Whiskey! Alcohol kills bacteria which is what makes you stink. Pit Liquor is made with organic ingredients including vanilla, black pepper & lavender. Be sure to follow them for special edition ones as well like Pine & Peppermint, Rose in Champagne and right now they have The Pineapple Upside Down. Which I kinda want because it probably smells amazing and of course Stranger Things.

Whiskey Black Pepper & Whiskey Vanilla

I’ve got the Black Pepper spray and the Vanilla roll on. Both smell great, and no you don’t smell like a bar. The alcohol evaporates off your skin within a minute and it doesn’t leave your armpit wet, you almost forget you applied it. I love that I don’t feel the need to reapply throughout the day like I do with other natural deodorants. A bottle typically last 2-3 months, depending on how many spritzes you use per pit. Remember to shake the bottle before each use to mix all the ingredients. No worries about applying it after shaving, I was pleasantly surprised it didn’t sting.

Where to purchase Pit Liquor

They are a Colorado based company so you can find them in select stores in the Southwest, check out list. You can purchase on their website as well. They do have a risk-free guarantee, meaning if you don’t love the product they’ll work out a return with you.

Proceeds from purchases help the Tolos Project, which provides medical assistance to people in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa.

Disclosure: I received product in exchange for a review, however all opinions expressed here are my own.

Hey all 🖤

Hope you all had a great holiday season! Last year was definitely a trying year and I\'m so looking forward to what 2021 has in store for us.

I\'m not making any resolutions or expectations for what the new year will hold. But last year did teach me I loved and want MORE of outdoor time, time with my family, time for myself, time in my garden and in the kitchen.
