Halloween and Fall activities are bigger and better than what they have been the past couple years! Get out there this season, and have some fun!
Every Fall/Halloween my family and I take in all things pumpkin and spooky, we love participating in all the festivities leading up to All Hallows Eve, and of course the kids love getting candy!

Pumpkin Patches
•Fat Turnip Farms
Pick your own pumpkins in October and be sure to check out their farm stand.
Located at 9701 Norheim Wy, Kingston
•Suyematsu Farms
Bring the family to pick pumpkins and other fun fall festivities.
Located at 9229 Day Rd, Bainbridge Island
•Hunter Family Farm
Opening October 5-October 31. There is something for everyone. Tractor rides, corn maze, barn animals, food vendors, fresh produce, ice cream and don’t forget our famous Hunter Farms grilled corn! Dogs are allowed on leashes.

•Colello’s Farm Stand
More of a farm stand but they do put up a “pumpkin patch”; purchase pumpkins and other produce, great photo opportunities, and a few toys to play with. Their pumpkin patch typically opens end of September.

•Creek House Farm TBD
Unfortunately, they announced they won’t be opening their pumpkin patch this year.
They raise organic, heirloom pumpkins and open the farm to the public in the fall for u-pick pumpkins, farm animals to visit, autumn crafts, a hay ride, a pumpkin play area, and many opportunities for photos! By appointment only.

•Pheasants Field Farm
Unfortunately, they announced, “We are currently closed to the public for the remainder of the 2025 season.”

Small family farm that you can come pick pumpkins at, open weekends on the Key Peninsula!

Sept 26- Oct 26, 2025 Fridays -Sundays, reservations required. Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Western town play area, outdoor games, photo ops, and 90 farm visit. Reservations only.
Located at 7777 Rosedale St NW, Gig Harbor
•Artondale Farms
More of a farm stand, but you can still get pumpkins and other seasonal products. We’re open Friday-Sunday 11-5 beginning the first weekend in April and running through Christmas Eve.

Fun Fall Events
I’ll try and keep this post as updated as I can. So, come back often! If it’s crossed out, I just haven’t seen any info yet, but that doesn’t mean the event’s not happening.
All Season Long:
•Libraries hold events all season long, most if not all, are free. Check out your local library, if it requires registration be sure to sign up quickly as they fill up fast.
Kitsap County Library
•Check out your local arts and crafts small business’, as many are hosting fall themed nights. A few to check are; Hollydays Coffee House, Yoked Farmhouse
•Every Friday & Saturday in October & Nov 1 – Port Gamble Ghost Walk – A three-hour guided tour of the history and paranormal in one of Washington State’s oldest towns. Purchase tickets on their site. Ages 16+
•Scarecrow Display of Downtown Port Orchard – Starting October 18th, scarecrows can be displayed at the Port Orchard Market or at a downtown business. The contest is open to families, individuals, businesses, not for profit organizations, if you’d like to participate in displaying a scarecrow check out this post.
•October 1-31, 2025 Bloedel Reserve Squash Hunt – Experience the magic of autumn at Bloedel Reserve. Wander the trails surrounded by brilliant fall color as you join our Annual Squash Hunt. Pick up a map and search for decorative squash tucked throughout the gardens. All Squash Hunt activities are included with the price of admission. Timed tickets are recommended.
•October 1-October 31, 2025 –Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk – free admission. People of all ages come to walk along Bainbridge Gardens’ historic Nature Trail, to view hundreds of hand designed pumpkins. For many families, the Pumpkin Walk has become a Halloween tradition. Food truck available each Saturday in October.
September:
•September 6, 2025 Poulsbo Kids Day – 10AM-2PM in the College Marketplace parking lot in front of 1st Security Bank. Bring the family out for a day of bike rodeo, craft booths, fire truck and so much more! This FREE annual event benefits North Kitsap Fishline. Bring non-perishable food or cash donation and get a chance to win an extra cool prize! Best for ages 0-9.
•September 8, 2025 – Watercolor Leaf Printing at Port Orchard Library, 4-5pm. Drop in to create an art print using leaves and watercolor paints. All ages, supplies provided.
•September 9, 2025 – Sock Owl Craft at Manchester Library, 4-5pm. Create a stuffed sock owl to keep you company as you read or study. Note: Hot glue guns will be used. For age 6-12, younger siblings welcome with an adult to assist. Registration required.
•September 19, 2025 Oktoberfest Stein Night – Bremerton. More details coming soon. Dust off your lederhosen and dirndls because Silver City Brewery’s Oktoberfest Stein Night is returning! 21+ only
•September 20, 2025 – Poulsbrew – 12pm-6pm Muriel Iverson Waterfront Park in Poulsbo for brews, food, live music, and fun! 21+ only
•September 20, 2025 Harvest Party at Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church – 2:00pm – 4:00pm for games, face painting, tractor rides, and more. A wonderful event for all ages. 9300 Nels Nelson Bremerton WA
•September 26, 2025 – Pumpkin Palooza – Family Night at Christian Life Center. Bring the whole family for a Pumpkin Palooza full of pumpkin snacks, pumpkin themed games, pumpkin decorating, and more pumpkin fun! •September 27, 2025 – Free Entrance Days in the National Parks
•September 27, 2025 – Bubblerama at Bainbridge Island Library, 11am-12pm. Local author Nora Nickum joins us at the library to talk about her book “This Book Bubbles Over” and explore the wonderful world of bubbles!
•September 27, 2025 – Winney Farm Fall Festival – Bainbridge Island, more details coming soon.
•September 28, 2025 – 5th Annual Ciderhaus Oktoberfest – Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse Poulsbo, 12-9PM We will have delicious food specials, Oktoberfest beer sampling and pairing from local breweries, a live band with the fun ‘Hometown Band’ showcasing local talent with their brass and upbeat Bavarian melodies, and even some fun games for the entire family.
October 1-5:
•October 3-4, 2025 U-Pick Pumpkin Patch – Poulsbo, Pick your own pumpkin at GRACE’s annual U-Pick event! The proceeds from our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch goes toward the purchase of seeds, soil and other materials to help our program continue providing our neighbors with fresh, delicious and nutritious food all year long!
•October 4, 2025 – Fall Fest at Port Orchard Farmers Market – Get ready for some harvest fun! Bring the kiddos, gather your friends, and come down to the Fall Fun Fest at the market. Costumes are encouraged! Kids are invited to trick-or-treat with our market vendors, and there will be lots of activities to enjoy from 9AM-2PM. Paint Your Own Pottery at the Fall Fun Fest with Sallie’s Custom Clayworks! This activity is fun for all ages and experience levels.
•October 4, 2025 Harvest Party at Woodpecker Hill Farms – 11am-2pm. “We thank our customers with a fun day at the farm. Hayrides, hay maze, candy in the hay, face painting, and much more! You don’t want to miss this fall event! Bring a bag of candy to share.”
•October 4, 2025 – NW Glass Pumpkin Patch Poulsbo – at Valley Nursery, 9am-3pm. The Northwest Glass Pumpkin Patches are sponsored by Tacoma Glassblowing Studio. Featuring over 2,000 hand blown glass pumpkins crafted by local glass artisans. Wander through a dazzling array of one-of-a-kind glass pumpkins in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes and price ranges. Average prices range from $30-85. These glass art pumpkins are perfect for the autumn season, yet beautiful enough to display year-round.
•October 4, 2025 – Manchester Oktoberfest – 11am-3pm. Join the fun at Oktoberfest in qa’qad Stormwater park. Free face painting, music by the Hometown Band, crafts with Kitsap Regional Library and an old-time apple press. BBQ Bratwurst & sauerkraut for sale.
•October 4, 2025 – Port Orchard Witches Paddle – 11am Launch time. Calling all witches (and brave warlocks too)! Grab your paddleboards or kayaks, don your best Halloween costumes, and join us for a magical paddle on the Port Orchard Waterfront
•October 5, 2025 – Harvest Sunday at Bible Baptist Church in Port Orchard – 10:30-11:30AM FALL IS HERE! Come join us for Harvest Sunday. More details coming soon.
•October 5, 2025 Trunkival at Peninsula Bible Fellowship – 2:30pm-4:30pm. Wear your favorite costume and come play fun games, enjoy cotton candy and corn dogs, and earn tickets to redeem for cool prizes. Invite your friends and bring the whole family for this fun filled, free event! Costumes(optional) should be kid-friendly. 9590 Radcliff AVE NE Bremerton
October 6-12:
•October 6, 2025 Ghost in a Jar – Port Orchard Library, 4-5pm. Drop in to make a clay ghost friend in a jar! All ages, supplies provided.
•October 10-11, 2025 – Trick or Tree: Glow in the dark egg hunt(three weekends) – Olmstead Tree Farms in Poulsbo. While we wait for the sun to set and the hunt to begin we have lots of fun in store! The Great Candy Grab is back. Race to find as much candy hidden in loads and loads of straw! Our climbing hay tower is always a hit! And we’ll have more family yard games, a DJ to keep the fun going, and bon fires to roast those s’mores. Grab a slice of Westside of Poulsbo pizza or other delicious goodies from our Snack Shack and watch our amazing stage show prior to the start of the egg hunt. But don’t delay, tickets are limited!
October 13-19:
•October 14, 2025 – Haunted Halloween Birdhouses – Manchester Library, 4-5pm. Create a “haunted” (or not-so-haunted) birdhouse! Assemble first–then paint and accessorize. Note: Acrylic paint will be used, please dress accordingly. For age 6-12 years, younger siblings welcome with an adult to assist. Registration required.
•October 17, 2025 – Haunted Heronswood at Heronswood Garden in Kingston, 5-9pm. Trick or treat! Join us at Heronswood for our annual festival of fright, with creepy characters wandering the grounds, spooky spectres in the woodland, and a chilling display of lights. We provide a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat along our illuminated pumpkin trail, and a Trail of Terror for the older kids. Food and drink available to buy. The garden is open 5-9pm. Booking not required, buy tickets at gate ($15 for adults, $10 for children 7-17, free to kids under 7).
•October 17, 2025 – Teen Lock-In: Stranger Things Edition at Bainbridge Island Library, 6:30pm-9pm. To celebrate the final season of Stranger Things arriving in November, we’ll be turning the library…. Upside Down. Join us for a Halloween extravaganza as we bring Hawkins to Bainbridge: trivia, games, crafts, and of course, a real Demogorgon await. Grades 7-12. Registration required.

There are some paid activities though and you can rent a cabin for the weekend, click the link for all the details.
•October 18, 2025 – Make Your Own Ofrenda at Bainbridge Island Library, 11am-1pm. Come and learn how to assemble a kid friendly altar for Día de los Muertos! We will have supplies available to decorate. Feel free to bring photos of ancestors or loved ones that have passed (or a copy).
•October 18, 2025 – Southworth Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival – Port Orchard, 10am-3pm “We’re so excited to invite you to our Southworth Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival! This event is free and open to everyone—our friends, clients, and all of Kitsap. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and let’s celebrate fall together while showing support for our local firefighters. Pumpkins for purchase, Warm cider & hot chocolate, SKFR Touch-A-Truck, Photo booth for family photos, Sweet treats, Fun games.”
October 20-26:
•October 21, 2025 – “Bone” Bridge Challenge at Manchester Library, 4-5pm. Build a “bone” bridge using a variety of materials. Challenges include strength, length, height–and chill factor! For age 6-12. Participants can work individually or as a team.

•October 24-25 2025 Trunk or Treat at SKELL – 6:30-8:30pm. Deep within the field, an eerie presence awaits all who venture inside. Beyond the graves, where ghosts and ghouls roam, lies a shadowing haunted field. Join us for two spine-chilling nights at the South Kitsap Eastern Little League for our annual SKELL-A-TON Haunted Field event. Admission: $5 per person – 6600 E Hilldale, Port Orchard
•October 25, 2025 – Bay Street BOO BASH! 3-5PM. Come join us for the annual Bay Street Boo Bash! Come dressed out in your favorite costume as you and your family explore downtown Port Orchard and all the shops and sights.
A community trick-or-treat event hosted by Port Orchard Waterfront businesses. Enjoy candy, photo stations, and activities for the entire family.
•October 25, 2025 – Kitsap Halloween Bash – 1-5pm. Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Bring the whole family to our FREE, all-ages, commissioner sponsored Halloween event! Enjoy Trunk or Treat and live music outside, then head indoors for a DJ and dance party you won’t want to miss.
•October 25, 2025 – Calloween in Charleston – Bremerton, 5-9pm. Join them for the 2nd Annual family-friendly Halloween event. More details coming.
•October 25, 2025 – Little Pumpkin Halloween Festival – Bremerton, 12pm-4pm. The fall magic is back, and bigger than ever! Join us at Little Pumpkins Festival for a day packed with family fun, sweet treats, and autumn vibes.
•October 25, 2025 – Halloween Trick or Treat Trail – 4-7pm. “Join us for the Third Annual Trick-or-Treat Trail (indoor) AND the Trunk-or-Treat (outdoor)!” 1954 SE Lund Ave, Port Orchard
•October 26, 2025 – Trunk or Treat at South Kitsap High School – Put on by Newlife Church in Port Orchard, 5-7PM. With 45+ trunks, food truck, and free coffee for the parents it will be a wonderful night for your whole family! Invite your friends, wear your costumes (don’t forget your candy bag) and we will see you there!
•October 26, 2025 – Haunted Gym – Sound Elite in Port Orchard, 6-8pm, $8 + tax. Brave our Halloween obstacle course—packed with spooky ghosts, creepy spiders, and surprises that go bump in the gym! Trunk or Treat in the parking lot with local businesses!
October 27-31:
•October 28, 2025 – Trunk or Treat in Silverdale – 6-8pm, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Silverdale 6th/Brownsville Trunk or treat in parking lot and fall fair games inside the cultural hall. RSVP here.
•October 31, 2025 – Trick or Treating through Historic Downtown Poulsbo – Watch out for ghosts, goblins and witches roaming the streets of Historic Downtown Poulsbo looking for candy treats from local merchants. For the safety of the children, Front Street will be closed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy live music and a fun and safe atmosphere for the kids.
•October 31, 2025 – Hometown Halloween Bainbridge Island – 4:00-6:00pm on Winslow Way in downtown Bainbridge. Downtown merchants welcome all ghosts and goblins, witches and warlocks to ramble Winslow Way in search of tasty treats, spooky tunes and more!
•October 31, 2025 – Trunk or Treat in Bremerton – Sylvan Way Church, 5pm-7pm
•October 31, 2025 – Spooktacular Preschool Halloween Bash at Poulsbo Parks & Rec – 3:30-5pm. Dress up as your favorite character! We are HOWLing for a HALLOWEEN this year! This is a FREE Event! Geared for Family Fun for your Pre-Schoolers!
•October 31, 2025 – Halloween Trick or Treat in Port Gamble – starting at 1pm trick or treat the Port Gamble Businesses, and goes until 5pm.
•October 31, 2025 Gathering of the Witches & Warlocks – Port Orchard, FREE & 21+ !!! 6-9 pm is all things Witchy ~ cocktails, snacks, costumes, coven hanging & so on! Did we mention a Costume Contest !? From 5-9 pm will be a SPOOOOOOOKY MARKET! if you’d like to participate, shoot us a message!
•October 31, 2025 – Downtown Bremerton Trick or Treat – Celebrate Downtown Bremerton’s Annual Trick-Or-Treat Street on Halloween night from 5:00pm–7:30pm. Downtown Bremerton’s favorite Halloween tradition is back – and this year, it’s spookier and more exciting than ever in our brand-new Quincy Square! Bring the whole family for a safe, fun-filled evening in the heart of Downtown Bremerton. More details to come! FREE parking is available at the garage on Washington at 4th Street!
•October 31, 2025 – Halloween Hullabaloo & Trunk or Treat – In Kingston, 5-7PM Come out to the church for Trunk or Treat, enjoy free refreshments, games, and plenty of family fun.
•October 31, 2025 Trunk or Treat at That One Place in Port Orchard – 4pm-6pm, Join us for an incredibly fun time of Trunking, Treating, and Eating! Every year, we have hundreds of visitors and numerous verified trunks of candy from local businesses meet for a sweet night!
•November 1, 2025 Dia de los Muertos – Bainbridge Island, 11am-4:30pm. The museum will be transformed by Community Celebrations that are memorable, beautiful, and deeply rooted in cultural significance. This year, two ceremonies presented by Alice Mendoza will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., with free tickets required to attend. The day begins with a joyful procession of children dressed as butterflies, leading guests along a flower-lined path into a museum vibrant with music, art, and activity.
