February Ipsy
Ipsy is a beauty subscription service, that delivers a bag of surprises to your mailbox each month. They have three different bag’s to choose from, starting at $13.99. You can also shop, and add more products to your bag each month.
It’s like Christmas morning when your Ipsy bag arrives in the mail, a surprise bag full of beauty products tailored to you. March was my first month with Ipsy, I went for the Glam Bag, which is the cheapest one to see how it was.
Although the Glam Bag contains only sample sizes, I was pleasantly surprised, and definitely felt it was worth it. One of the main reasons I wanted to give Ipsy a try, was to be introduced to new products, and brands. Trying new things doesn’t come natural for me.
Each month your Ipsy subscription comes with a cute little makeup bag. I love February’s pink design, complete with the heart zipper.
There wasn’t a single item that I didn’t like this month, all new to me products and brands. And I was the sample sizes were still fairly good size stuff.
Something I learned about Ipsy, when I noticed all the products I received had the little cruelty free bunny on them. Ipsy only partners with vegan, and cruelty free products. Huge win for me!
The Eyeshadow by Karmela Cosmetics was gorgeous, and was considered sample size because the original palette comes with 8 colors. I love the color on, and the two should last me a while.
Fluff Up Brow by Benefit Cosmetics, is one of those makeup items I don’t think I’d ever buy myself. It was fun to try though.
Marc Anthony’s Strictly Curls Curl Envy Cream is new to me, and I love trying it on my curly hair. It smells great, nice texture, and made my curls look good.
Let’s talk about the “Birthday Cake” Whipped Body Butter by Aminnah Skincare. My daughter absolutely loves this, it smells amazing, feels great on your skin, but it is sticky. Perfect to put on your knuckles or right before bed.
The last sample I received was the Vitamin Baby Foundation(in 5W) by The Beauty Crop. The color matched my face great, lasted all day, and was breathable.
Pretty great February bag, I’d definitely purchase a few of the products again! I’ll review the March bag much sooner, as it should be here in the next week. Do you receive the Ipsy subscription? I’d love to know in the comments.
