Easy Watermelon, Mint & Feta Salad
My family loves watermelon and we eat a ton of it during the summer season! It’s such a delicious, easy and fresh snack. I’ll cut one up every couple days and just store the container in the fridge for easy access. We’ll also eat it with lunch or dinner, made into a fruit salad of some sort. Love it with berries, or with fresh mint from our garden, honey bought locally and feta – can’t go wrong with feta!
This Watermelon, Mint & Feta Salad recipe(if you want to call it a recipe) is very delicious and easy to make. Just a little twist to classic watermelon; eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or even a snack.
Depending on how much for making get an appropriate sized bowl out, all your ingredients, cutting board and knife. Cut watermelon up into bite sized pieces and place into a bowl. Chop up a couple fresh mint leaves and sprinkle over watermelon. If you got a block of feta, chop a few slices off and sprinkle feta over watermelon. Gently toss the watermelon, mint, and feta just a little and drizzle honey on top.
Serve chilled! Makes the perfect addition to your barbecue and/or picnic at the park.
