Easy & Healthy Flavored Water
Drinking water is such an important part of life, but sometimes it can get boring! During the summer my family drinks so much water to stay hydrated but can be difficult to make everyone drink 8 cups a day. They have so many flavored waters on the market with sugar and artificial sweeteners but those aren’t necessarily good for us. I love having a pitcher of water with fresh produce, and no sweeteners or artificial ingredients. Easy to make, easily accessible to get a fresh healthy drink!
To get flavored water you don’t need any mix, you could add fresh fruits, vegetables and/or herbs. Don’t be afraid to experiment and find your perfect water recipe. My favorite go-to flavored water recipe is very simple and easy. You’ll have no problem drinking your 8 cups a day!!
Get your pitcher ready. Chop mint, slice lemons and cucumbers and place into the pitcher. Pour cold water into the pitcher and either add a few ice cubes or place into the fridge. Serve chilled.
We used our fresh mint from our garden, loved being able to pick fresh produce from our yard to make something with it. It’s so easy to make a herb garden planter, try it yourself.
