How I Remove My Makeup, The Clean Way
Skincare is very important to me, and I am always getting compliments on how well my skin looks. Sure, some of it probably has to do with genetics, but most of it has to do with how well I’m treating my skin.
My whole life I’ve been dealing with sensitive skin, so I really have to watch what I put on it.
I’m hear to talk about my makeup removing routine.
How often do I wash my face?
My face washing routine is fairly simple, and only uses two products. Well, three if you count water. In the morning’s I’ll rinse my face with just water.
In the evenings, I’ll wash it to remove the grime, and makeup from the day.
What do I use to wash?
My first step is to wash my entire face with, I prefer the unscented because of my sensitive skin, but they do have other scents to choose from. If you’ve never tried pure castile soap, you’re missing out. There are a ton of ways to use it, I have a bottle in my shower for my entire body, including shaving!
After I’ve washed with soap, I’ll have some eye makeup residue that I still need to remove.
I’ve tried many eye makeup remover products in my lifetime, and they have all had the same outcome for me. Occasionally I’ll try a “clean” labeled eye removed, and still, the same result. They irritate my eyes. I don’t care how well they clean the makeup off my face, I’m not going to use a product that stings my eyes badly.
My go-to for removing my eye makeup is, lotion or moisturizer. Yes, that lotion you put on your body or the moisturizer you use for your face. Works wonderfully for removing your eye makeup. Just put a little onto a cotton ball/pad, or reusable makeup remover pad and wipe the makeup away.
