I’m always curious to know what other’s makeup, skin and hair care routine looks like.
Makeup can be such a powerful thing; it can boost someone’s confidence, and allow them to show creativity.
My makeup routine is fairly simple, and practical. It boost my confidence, but I also don’t believe in hiding all my imperfections either. It’s practical, because I live on a mini farm. I have to work outside rain or shine, and am always getting dirty, and/or sweaty.
Check out how I get my “no makeup, makeup look”, in under 5 minutes, and only 6 (drugstore) makeup products!
Primer
After I’ve washed, and moisturized my face. I add this primer that makes my skin feel amazing. The Freeman Glow Serum+ Vitamin C is a new arrival at Walmart, and only cost $6. It helps my makeup hold up all day long.
Face Cover
I’m on a Covergirl kick right now; as it’s easily available, affordable, and it’s a cruelty-free company.
I’ve used Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream in place of my foundation for years now, I just love how light it feels, and usually I buy one with SPF in it, so I don’t have to add that to my routine also. (This one unfortunately doesn’t have it though, so I’ll be using a different one come this spring)
I use Covergirl Trublend Undercover Concealer to hide the circles under my eyes, and the lines I get between my mouth and nose. And the occasional zit.
Cheeks
The Neutrogena Multi-Use Stick is wonderful, it can be used to tint your lips, cheeks, and eyes. It’s also the perfect makeup item to leave in your purse, you can easily add a little color to your face. Although once this container is gone, I will be looking for another brand to use as it’s not cruelty-free.
Mascara
Then comes curling the eye lashes, and adding a layer of Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. This mascara doesn’t leave any clump’s on my lashes, which is a no go for me in wearing mascara.
Lipstick
Lastily, I apply a light coat of Covergirl Exhibitionist Ultra Matte “Risky Business” Lipstick. I’ve got a cold sore on my lip right now, so this color of lipstick sort of hides it. When I do have cold sores, I don’t cover them with makeup, because I don’t want to cause anymore irritation.
That is the products I use for my daily five minute makeup look! You can find them all at the drugstore, and for a reasonable price too! What can’t you leave the house without applying first, leave me a comment with your everday makeup product(s). Please don’t forget to follow my Instagram.
