Let’s discuss teeth whitening. I’ve tried a few different teeth whitening products on the market, the latest being Smile Brilliant! My teeth aren’t naturally bright white but they aren’t extremely yellow either, my weakness is coffee. Also, I wouldn’t say I’m particularly self-conscious about my teeth, but I have found I feel more confident when they are whiter.
With Smile Brilliant teeth whitening kit, there’s three easy steps to follow.
After you’ve received and opened your box; the first step is to Make Your Dental Impressions! Make the impressions with the putty & plastic trays provided. I can honestly say I was extremely nervous for this first step, only because I have a couple crowns and cavities in my mouth and I was paranoid they were going to come out with the molds after they harden. So, I put all my fear away and went ahead mixing the putty and preparing myself mentally. Very easy to mix, place the putty in the trays and make the impressions. Now came the part I was dreading popping them out, you do have to pull a little hard to get out after they’ve dried. But I can honestly say I don’t know what I was so afraid of, they came out perfectly no issues at all. The first step was SO much easier than I anticipated! After your impressions have sat for 30 minutes, all you have to do is mail them to the lab in a prepaid(US Only) envelope.
The second step; The Lab Crafts Your Trays! After they’ve received your dental impressions, they create the trays and send back to you within 3-5 business days.
And the third and final step; Whiten! Use your custom-fitted trays and Smile Brilliant’s premium teeth whitening gel. In the past I’ve used whitening strips and gels you paint on your teeth and I was never a fan of either as they tended to get very messy as I’ve found my mouth produces a lot of saliva when I’m whitening. These custom-fitted trays were wonderful and stayed put, even when I had to spit.
As for sensitivity, my teeth are very sensitive and I’ve always had some pain with whitening. With Smile Brilliant you can whiten for 45 minutes to 3 hours, along with their Whitening Gel they also sell a Desensitizing Gel that you can use after the whitening gel if needed. My teeth and gums have been perfectly fine with no pain if I only go 45 minutes to 1 hour every couple days and I don’t even need to use the desensitizing gel, that’s what I found works for me. You can experiment and see what works for you.
This kit is very easy to use and you’ll see great results. Each gel tube will last 3-4 times and most people need 7-14 applications to completely remove stains. I’ve noticed a difference but like I said I don’t use it as frequently as they suggest, but I’m happy for the results and that’s all that matters.
