My family loves Trader Joe’s and we are so fortunate to have a location only 5 minutes away from our house. Have you been to Trader Joe’s before?
If you’ve never been, TJ’s has great organic products for reasonable prices and one of my favorite things to shop for there is the prepackaged foods perfect for those busy days where you don’t have time to make a healthy homemade meal but don’t want to eat junk. If you aren’t able to frequently shop at TJ’s, be sure to visit at least once every season to experience all the seasonal items, they are very tasty. Or maybe that is your shopping spot and just need some suggestions.
Below I’m listing out 10 best things to buy at Trader Joe’s this FALL! Do you have a favorite seasonal item?
1. Pumpkin Ravioli – this are a favorite! can be as simple as cook, drain, add butter and salt2. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins – these are AMAZING! I’ll admit it I hid these from the guys and ate them all in like 2 days hehe…they aren’t overly sweet, if that’s what you are looking for3. Butternut Squash ready to use – either one of these are perfect, they are completely ready to be thrown into your recipe4. Haunted House – these are so fun for the kids to create, think gingerbread house but for Halloween5. Butternut Squash Mac n Cheese – I didn’t tell my child this was made with squash and wasn’t your typical mac and cheese. He really liked it, although it did have a little spice to it.6. Pumpkin Rolls – Yum, this are very good. I love cinnamon rolls and this is the perfect fall edition.7. Butternut Squash Soup – very tasty and makes the easiest meal8. Harvest Grains – This is SO good! Serve as a side or add in an entree. 9. Fall Zucchette Pasta – I’m loving all the foods that have hidden veggies in them, makes it so easy to feed my “veggie hater” family lol. But keep in mind these take a little longer to cook then the package says.10. Joe-Joe’s – The PUMPKIN flavor is very good. The Halloween ones are fun for the kids but honestly they taste like garbage so I’d skip those unless all your looking for is presentation.
And something to skip!! Butternut Squash Parmigiana, I could only handle eating a couple bites, the flavors were just off and not to mention the smell.
