Pumpkin Patch Tips & Schilter Farms in Nisqually
The Pumpkin Patch is one of our fav Halloween traditions! And this is the second year we’ve done the Schilter Farms in Nisqually, we had a wonderful time but I won’t be going again mid-day on a weekend, WAY too crowded! We were there a good 4 hours and still didn’t get to do all the things, including picking out pumpkins, the line was just too long – so we got them from the store lol ;)
Other than that the day was perfect, the sun was shinning, the fog was in the distance(fav!), we got to do about half of the stuff. We had the apple cider donuts for the first time and WOW where have they been my whole life, SO GOOD!! We did the corn maze for the first time, Star Wars themed, Mason was absolutely loving it but I honestly had different feelings about it. It was cool that it had some Star Wars decorations and the maze was the shape of Yoda, but honestly without “knowing” that then you would of had no idea and what is so fun about running in circles lost?! Worth $8? – No! But again my opinion, and Mason loved it! So, it’s a great idea if you want to get some good exercise lol!!
Here’s some pictures from our time at the farm:
Mason was having a little too much fun at this water station, and that was our cue to leave. He was soaking wet but he had fun! So, go have fun at your local Pumpkin Patch, you still have 2 more weeks! Great Halloween tradition!
