Easter cupcakes that are easy enough for kids to make! #Recipe
Three things I love; cupcakes, cooking with my kids, and Easter! Easter is right around the corner and that means yummy sweet treats. Are you looking for an Easter themed treat and easy enough to make with your children?
All you need is;
1 box of cake mix (& what’s needed for mix)
1 frosting container
baking cups
coconut flakes
Easter candy – we used peeps and eggs
green food dye
After you have all ingredients together. Make box of cake mix, pour into cupcake baking cups, and bake according to box.
While cupcakes are baking, prepare the “grass”. Place coconut flakes into ziplock baggy, add a couple drops of green food dye, zip bag and shake to mix. 
After cupcakes have cooled, about 15 minutes. Add a thin layer of frosting to each cupcake or as much as you’d like. Then sprinkle some of the coconut flakes over the frosting/cupcakes.
Lastly add Easter candy of your choice. And enjoy!
