There are so many things I'm thankful for and one of those is the amount of nature areas Washington state has to offer. I'm so thankful we were able to get out and walk Nisqually Wildlife Perserve before the "Stay Home, stay healthy" order the Gov. placed. It was wonderful to get out one last time, this staying home is tough and I don't know how we're going to manage?!! #pnw #nature #optoutside #stayhome #momlife #sendwine

🌴On Saturday we took advantage of the sunshine and finally got out of the house! This will be a rough and trying time for our mental health, not going to lie. But we got to play at the local beach while practicing #socialdistancing it was wonderful! 🌻And we found a beautiful painted rock, thank you to who ever hid it!

What are you going to do with your child if homeschooling isn't cut out for them or your family? Take a deep breath, exhale and relax. It'll be okay! Everyone's health and wellness is much more important at this time than academics. I've got a list of activities if you'd like some structure in your lives though. Check it out on my blog.

Glad we were able to squeeze in one more trip out into the community and zoo before things start shutting down. Friday Piper and I made an impromptu visit to Pt defiance zoo! It was great minus the cold/rain; there was only a couple other people, animals were active, didnt need to touch anything. Now schools are out for 6 weeks and we plan on quarantining ourselves at home for most of that time, except to get out into nature.

On February 3 I started My Peak Challenge and happy to say I'm still going strong! I've been needing to make some lifestyle changes and get more active. I've been working to control what I eat, getting some kind of exercise in daily which I'm really enjoying. I didn't think I'd ever say that! 💚 #MPC2020 has truly started changing my life, I've had more positive thoughts and my body feels good. @mypeakchallenge

Just an IDEA!! With the coronavirus and people stocking their homes with TP, disinfecting wipes, tissues, hand santizer.... Think about buying an extra wipe container, hand santizer and/or tissue box and donate it to your child's teacher. I'm 100% positive they wouldnt turn it down! Keep in mind I'm sure the school is supplying them with some stuff but a lot of times teachers spend money out of their own pockets for classroom stuff. Remember your child is spending a good portion of their time at school right now, not just at home.

As winter begins to wrap up, we can all start to think about Spring and the weather warming up. I don’t know about you but I am so ready for spring; dresses without leggings, sandals, goodbye to the layers until next year. Are you ready?

With the change of the season comes the change of your wardrobe, you can put all your winter clothes away and bring out your spring/summer clothing and buy some new pieces.

Let’s be honest you won’t need to throw out all your clothes from last year, some pieces will still be trendy. Take some time to go through your inventory and see what’s still in style, what clothes to toss and buy some new pieces for your spring wardrobe! Retail therapy’s good for the soul! Here’s 10 fashion trends to follow this spring for all your ladies and girls.

(Be sure to check out the giveaway below!)

Jumpsuits & Rompers
Jumpsuits and rompers were popular last year and it looks like they’ll be back again this year. I love wearing them, they make choosing an outfit so easy. Look for ones with wide legs, and wrap around the waist. Any color or pattern. Find them for as low as $20, if you think about it that’s an awesome price for a bottom and top!

Wide Leg Bottoms
Goodbye Mom jeans, hello newest fashion trend for your bottoms. Pants/Jeans with wide legs is popular this season. Choose from palazzo pants, culottes, boot-cut, cropped, bell-bottoms; anything that is not “skinny” or “straight” legged.

Embroidered
Embroidery is in this season; look for small details in clothing pieces. Love all the picks below.

Dresses that tie around waist
One of my favorite piece of clothing to wear is dresses; they make you look good easily and are super comfortable. Dresses are truly never out of style. The ones that are especially in style this season are ones that tie around the waist, wrap dresses and with fringe.

Leather jackets
Or faux leather if a real one isn’t in your budget. Pair it with so many different looks, go for a tighter fit than a loose one.

Blazers
The whole “chic office” look is in; pair it with pants, skirts and even jeans. Easily look put together and still stylish. Choose any color.

The color BLACK
Black is a color that will never go out of style. It works for all seasons and all occasions. It’s a color that you can literally pair with any other material, color or pattern. And it’s a color that makes you look slimmer, if you want that.

The color LAVENDER
Lavender is such a pretty color and definitely a “spring” color. It just screams flowers, and Easter. I love that it’s a trendy color this season because it lightens peoples moods.

The color PALE BLUE
Pastel colors seem to scream Spring time! It’s a beautiful color, light and happy. Makes me think of blue skies and summer time! Goodbye winter!

Bermuda Shorts
These have always been my go-to short for spring and summer, they work for all body shapes. Look for tight or lose fits, different lengths, and you can make them work for all occasions. For men or women, and children!

What trend(s) are you excited for? I’ll most definitely be snagging some new jumpsuits, dresses and wide leg bottoms. I am so excited for the season to change, the warm sunshine and endless time outdoors! To help us celebrate, I’d like to give someone $25 Paypal to go buy yourself something or someone else – you choose what you want to do with the money. Enter through the rafflecopter form below. Giveaway will end midnight 21st of March! Best of luck!!
