Easy Banana Cream Pie Recipe
I’ve always loved a pudding pie, when I was younger I have a strong memory of my uncle bringing a pudding pie to the family functions and all the kids would fight over a piece.
Pudding pies are so easy to make, only 4 ingredients and ready in under 15 minutes. The pudding box does have pie directions but I like my pie a little thicker. This banana cream pie is a favorite of everyone’s and can be enjoyed at any occasion, whether you’re going to a holiday party or just having a backyard barbecue. Banana dessert always taste good!
Making a banana pie is very easy and you need no experience in the kitchen. Get all your ingredients together, get out a medium size bowl, take the lid off the pie crust and set aside.
Measure out the milk and heavy whipping cream into the bowl, give it a quick stir. Slowly stir in the package of pudding and mix completely, about 2 minutes.
After the pudding mix is completely stirred in with the milk/cream, pour the pudding into the pie crust. Place the pie crust lid back on and refrigerate the pie for at least 10 minutes. You could easily freeze it too if you’d like.
Remove the pie from the fridge and enjoy! If your pie is frozen, give it a few minutes to thaw out. Optional, but you could place freshly sliced bananas on top.
I hope your family enjoys this Banana Cream Pie as much as mine, it’s the perfect dessert for your meal. It’s fluffy, light but still sweet and best of all extremely easy and quick to make.
