The Habit Burger Grill now opened in North Tacoma
The Habit Burger Grill opened it’s first Pierce County location last month on Valentine’s Day(Feb 14th)! Habit Burger Grill’s menu items are all made-to-order using fresh ingredients. It has that fast food vibe without the fast food.
My hubby and I were able to check out the menu opening weekend and I’ve love to share our experience with ya’ll!
Going in I really had no idea what to expect. The Tacoma location can seat 84 guests inside and 14 outside, which I love the idea of outdoor seating during the summer. It’s very open, lots of natural light, booths, low and high chair seating options. Lots of choices of drinks; the teas were great, lots of condiment options including fresh peppers, limes, lemons.
Like mentioned above all items are made to order, and on the menu you will find plenty of options like charburgers, sandwiches, salads, kids items and sides. But the menu is over packed, I personally hate when a restaurant has like 50 items to choose from!! Foods are prepared twice daily, cooked over a open flame, almost everything is fresh local ingredients except the chicken which is fresh but not local and the french fries are the only item that they receive frozen. Isn’t that amazing?!!

My absolute favorite item we tried, which I’m still craving was the Super Food Salad! The flavors, quantity and quality were all amazing! It made you forget you were having something really good for you.

This was the first “plate” of food they brought out to us to try. The onion rings were amazing, crunchy and when you bit into it you didn’t take the whole onion with. The burgers were the Original Charburger(single and double patty), they looked exactly like they do on the advertisement(which I’ve found is rare), they tasted fresh and full of flavor.

At Habit Burger Grill you can find Tempura Green Beans! I’ve never had these before but now I’m a fan. They are very good.

You MUST try their housemade Ranch, it is amazing! They also have fry sauce, which is a favorite in my house.
What “fast food” restaurant can you get sushi-grade Tuna and Tri-Tip Steak? We tried a caesar salad with tuna(pictured above) and it was great, salad and tuna are both very fresh. And can’t beat a salad with seafood on it for less than $9.
We also tried the Tri-tip steak sandwich with BBQ, you can also get it with teriyaki sauce. (Pictured below) This was my husbands favorite, very fresh and the flavors were amazing. $7.55
