Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Take traditional pot roast up a notch, with this roast recipe that is so moist, and delicious. It's full of flavor with a tangy, zesty kick. With less than 5 ingredients!

- 4-5 lb roast
- 1 stick butter
- 1 packet of brown gravy
- pepperoncini's jarred, 4-5 whole, or 1/3 cup of sliced
- 2 cups water
Place the roast in the bottom of the slow cooker, and put the stick of butter on top. Then sprinkle the brown gravy mix, water and add the pepperoncini's on top.
Cook on low heat for 8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
Serve over mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, fries, rice, noodles, and even on nachos. If you'd like you could even add potatoes, carrots, or any other veggie into the slow cooker 2-3 hours before serving. Don't forget to drizzle some of the juice on top.
We've found this works well with fresh pepperoncini's or jarred ones. Unfortunately fresh one's aren't always available though.
This can be made in an Instant Pot, or in the oven as well.
