Healthy Granola Bars

These healthy granola bars are perfect for a snack or even breakfast. Made with flax seed, chia seed, peanut butter, coconut, dark chocolate and more healthy ingredients. Vegetarian and Gluten Free!

  • 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes


  • 2 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil


  • In a pot over medium high heat stir peanut butter, honey, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
  • Remove from heat and stir in flaxseed, chia seed, oats, almonds and coconut flakes.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Melt coconut oil and chocolate chips in the microwave. Drizzle over granola bars and set the pan into the fridge for 30-45 minutes.
  • Remove the granola bars from the fridge and take out of the loaf pan. Chop into 7 bars with a sharp knife. Store the granola bars in the fridge, either in a container or individually wrapped.
