Instant Pot Taco Soup

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cans mexican stewed tomatoes undrained
  • 1 can pinto beans undrained
  • 1 small can diced green chilies undrained
  • 1/2 cup canned corn drained
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper


  1. Plug your instant pot in, spray the bottom with cooking spray, set to saute and throw in your chopped onions and ground beef.
  2. After you've browned your ground beef add all your ingredients; corn, stewed tomatoes, beans, green chilies, and seasoning. Mix all your ingredients, close the lid and turn the valve to sealing. Pressure cook on low for 30 minutes.
  3. Let it release the pressure naturally or wait 10 minutes and carefully switch the valve to venting. Scoop into bowls and garnish with toppings of choice and enjoy!
