Will I continue the Always Eat After 7 PM diet?

I’ve really enjoyed reading the Always Eat After 7 PM book by Joel Marion. While following a diet I find it very important to follow science and pay attention to what your body needs, opposed to following the latest diet trend. And this book does exactly that; it’s based on science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.

 

Like I wrote in the past, I find it very important to sit down and think about your health goals and what you want from making changes. My goals for my health is to just feel better physically, mentally and emotionally – with that I realize I need to consume a well balanced and healthy diet. I want to be able to keep up with my kids, be less stressed and have less pain in my body(acid reflux, arthritis, ect).

The Always Eat After 7 PM diet has given me more energy and less pain. Although I haven’t been very strict with my diet the past couple weeks, when the world slows down around me a little I’d love to try the phases again and see if I can lose weight.

It’s a great diet that I’ll continue to follow because it gives me the nutrition my body needs and happiness by allowing me to still eat the foods I love!

In general, healthy fats can also help increase feelings of fullness and satisfaction because they regulate appetite through a number of mechanisms, including the release of appetite hormones. What’s more, combining fat with fiber has been shown to further increase the satiating potential of fat. The satiating power of fats is often one explanation offered to describe why some weight loss trials have shown that low-carbohydrate (and higher-fat) diets tend to lead to greater weight loss than low-fat diets.

I talked a little about the recipes in my last post but thought I’d say a little more. The recipes in the book are delicious, easy to make at home, and more importantly you can find all the ingredients already in your house or on the grocery store shelves. None of that specially marked “diet brand” foods. Which I personally find very important when following a diet. The menu plan for each phase also has a variety of foods, your not just eating the same food over and over again.
