Pierce County & Kitsap County Holiday & Winter Assistance
Updated: 11/19/2024, I’m in the process of updating this post.
Are you looking for some holiday help?
The holiday season is a magical time; the cheerful lights and decorations, the excitement of giving, the anticipation of getting together with loved ones for delicious holiday foods. Unfortunately, for a lot of folks the holidays are a very stressful time. From food insecurities, financial burdens and pressure of gift giving, or where to stay dry and warm.
The past 4+ years have been unforgettable and not in a good way. It’s been a difficult time; the pandemic, shortages and inflation. It’s been tough!
Did you know 1 in 9 Washingtonians struggle to put food on their table. 1 in 6 children don’t know where their next meal is coming from. And hunger and food insecurities spike during the holidays!
This community we live in is so amazing and the willingness to help others even during a pandemic leaves me speechless! I’m proud to call the Puget Sound my home!
Below you’ll find holiday and winter assistance for Pierce and Kitsap Counties.

Thank you for gathering and sharing this information, so everyone may have a happy holiday.
I’m looking for some help this year. This is our 3rd year that we have had zero presents under the tree. We’re are older. We’re not eligible for hardly any help but we’ve been struggling just to pay the monthly bills. I’m now disabled but not eligible for disability. & on top of that my wallet wtas stolen with gift cards to the grocery store.
I thank the lord for our local bank or we wouldn’t have anything to eat from week to week.
I get frustrated when seeking assistance because we fall right into the cusp of eligibility. I just thought it would be nice to have a gift under are tree this year. Bonney lake seems to not have a whole lot to offer. Please can you help?
Happy holidays
Do you know if any of the locations that you listed will help grandparents with Christmas presents for their grandchildren?
Hi my name is Banton Laeo I’m leaving my messages that I really need help with my Rent sort of behind on rent I don’t know what to do that I got 14 days of notice or vacated of my apartment but I have TWO kids still looking for a jobs but also struggling with Shoes Need Steel Toe so I can get started on my new jobs. But please thanks
I would love to give back this holiday season and am looking for a opportunity to volunteer on the 17th of December. I have a very limited schedule and this is the only day I can. Please let me know if there is a event, distributing or really anything that can help make someone’s Christmas a little better that I can be involved in. Also I am background checked and cleared by WA STATE PATROL and state of Washington department of licensing so I can and would honestly appreciate it more if it were with children. Thank you and merry Christmas
