My family is suckers for baby animals, they are just too adorable and makes you want to cuddle them all day long. Yes, even Tigers and Raccoons!
National Geographic Kids – Hey, Baby! is a cute wonderful book all about baby animals of land, sea and air. My whole family loves this book, it is definitely a great read or if you just want a smile!
It has beautiful photography but what National Geographic book doesn’t? ;) But seriously the photos in the book are so cute, vivid colors, high quality.
There’s amazing poems and special stories of unusual animal friendships, animal rescue, and global folktales. Like the story of a lion, tiger and a bear found in the basement of an Atlanta, Georgia house being neglected but made complete recoveries and lived happily together. Such a sad and happy story!
Actual factual information about animals and nature, love learning new things and teaching my kids. The book is organized by habitats, so you can easily find a certain animal by looking at the Contents page. Each section opens with a poem and ends with a precious photo gallery of “more itty bitty babies” called a Tot Lot.
