This weekend we celebrate the women who birthed us, who loved us, who put up with us and continue to. We celebrate the Mother’s in our lives!
Let me tell you a little about my mother, she is one of the strongest people I know. She was able to put up with me in my teenage troubled years, even though I put her through h*ll most nights worrying about me, wondering if I’d continue to fall down the path that I was headed and like a lot aren’t able to pull back out. She didn’t give up on me. Thank you for raising me to be a strong, caring and confident woman. Sure I could dwell that I screwed up on not taking college more seriously and that I don’t have a degree in something, but to tell you the truth I love raising my family, and I love who I’ve become. Thank you Mom, for allowing me to see a different side of individuals with disabilities and that they are just like everyone else! Thank you for showing me your strength towards your cancer battle and the effects it still has on you. You kept a smile the whole time, even though we knew you were in a h*ll of a lot of pain, you kept your faith and never gave up. It taught me that no matter how hard something may be to never give up. You are a fighter. You are the definition of strength. To not take life for granite, even the struggles life throws at you. Thank you for teaching me to be an amazing mother, that your family comes first, that’s where your happiness comes from! Happy Mother’s Day!!
Remember to wish all your Mother’s a big happy Mother’s Day, don’t forget to give your Grandma’s a call too 😉
