Being Healthy & Your Gut! Gut Connection by Country Life
Did you know that your gut plays a very important role in good health? There are links between your gut health and your immune system, mood, mental health, autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders, skin conditions, and cancer. A person has about 300 to 500 different species of bacteria in their digestive tract, while some are harmful to our health, many are beneficial and necessarily for a healthy body.
Being healthy is key essential to being happy; your body is happy and you feel good about yourself.
Gut Connection by Country Life is a whole food fermentate prebiotic that feeds the bacteria in your gut and helps maintain its lining to improve your gut microbiome health. It’s not a probiotic, so you can either take it alone or with your probiotic!
After taking the Digestive Balance for about a week I already began to feel better about myself, my bloating was shrinking, didn’t feel the need to snack as much and I began to feel more energetic. It’s suggested you take 4 a day, honestly I felt that was a little much with the other supplements I take daily but it’s been working great for me. It didn’t leave an after taste which is very important to me, as that is a huge deterrent.
Gut Connection comes in 8 different Balances such as Immune, Energy, Cognitive, Stress, Mood, Sleep, Weight and the Digestive. I could benefit from all those and I’m sure you could for at least one. Made from whole foods, so you can feel good about what you’re putting into your body.
Tips for a Healthy Gut
Add a prebiotic and probiotic to your daily supplements. Prebiotics provide “food” to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut, while probiotics are live good bacteria. If you have a bacteria overgrowth you shouldn’t take probiotics though.
Get enough sleep. Not getting enough sleep can cause problems in your gut health and in turn contribute to more sleep issues.
Lower your stress levels. High levels of stress is hard on the whole body and can contribute to a lot of other issues.
Cleaner diet. Eat foods that are going to make you feel good not give you cramping, bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, rashes, nausea, fatigue, and acid reflux. Pay attention to your body, keep a journey and find out what works well for you. Do you need to cut out dairy? What about whole wheat? Reducing the amount of processed, high sugar, high fat foods you eat can also help with better gut health.
