Curry Chicken Sandwich with Almonds
Sandwich’s are an easy meal to prepare and they can be so satisfying. Ever since trying a sandwich at a local cafe restaurant, I can’t stop thinking about how tasty it was. I just had to recr
eate it. It’s your typical chicken sandwich with an easy addition.
Seriously it was so easy to make; you could easily make a large container and store in the fridge for lunches. Or serve with soup for dinner.
I boiled a raw chicken breast for about 30-45 minutes until it was thoroughly cooked then I shredded it. Prepare the chicken however you’d like, buy it already cooked or in a can whichever way you’d like. Throw in your cooled shredded chicken, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, curry powder and sliced almonds.
After all your ingredients are in the bowl, stir until combined. Scoop onto the bread of your choice and sprinkle with a little more curry powder and almonds(optional). This recipe made two kaiser rolls. Like I said above serve immediately or store for later in a container for later.
Enjoy! Let me know how you like it? It’s awesome when you can easily tweak traditional recipes.
