Baby’s Second Month Update #Piper
2 months??! I seriously can’t believe it’s already been two months since you entered the world! We’ve had so much fun getting to know you and watching you grow, you are already loved so much! So much has been going on in our lives the past month; you are adjusting very well to the school routine, we are all so busy with getting everything done before fall and winter hits. Can’t wait to see how much you grow this next month!
PIPER MAE
2 months
weight:: 12 pounds 8 ounces
height:: 24 inches
+ still hates the carseat! but we are learning how to deal/cope with it ;)
+ smiling since 5 days old
+ started having a conversation with me at 5 1/2 weeks
+ laughed and rolled to the side once, so I’m sure those are coming very soon
+ already in 6-9 month clothing, but can still fit a few 3-6 months
+ outgrew the swaddle but has to always sleep in a Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit, which is AMAZING if you’re wondering!
+ loves bath time – I guess the superstitions were right about babies born en caul have a natural affinity towards water
+ very strong and loves lifting her head, likes tummy time, loves kicking her legs
+ has a temper and a voice, oh boy does she!!
+ sleeping a little better, we are getting her schedule down and she will sleep for 5 hours straight the first part of the night
+ very alert and likes to watch everything going on around her
+ she loves her brother so much and just smiles hearing his voice
+ very blue eyes, we (& your Dr) think they’ll stay blue :)
