Visiting Washington’s Wine Country #Prosser
This past Fall I headed to Eastern Washington to a little town called Prosser for a hosted weekend, to learn all about Washington’s Wine Country. It wasn’t my first time to Prosser as my parent-in-laws live there, so I am pretty familiar with the town!
Prosser is around a 3 1/2 hour drive from either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. Once you get to Prosser you won’t be disappointed, they have something for all ages to enjoy. It’s a small charming town surrounded by farm land and a friendly close-nit community. That’s the thing I love most, they are very supportive of each other!
My two favorite pictures from the whole trip. Top: Domanico Cellars, Thanks for the wonderful vineyard tour! Bottom: Chinook Wines, Thanks Kay Simon for the beautiful lunch!
Below you will find places to stay, what to do including “Wine”, where to eat and of course family friendly activities. I will try not to over-share with photos, but Prosser is just beautiful!
Where to Stay
Prosser offers a few options where to stay, go to TourProsser for more options! There is also the option of renting a home try VRBO or AirBnB, or a hotel Best Western Plus-The Inn at Horse Heaven Hills.
Seven Gables Pensione Bed & Breakfast
We had the pleasure of staying at 7 Gables, the home is beautiful and I loved the French Country feel. It has a beautiful picture perfect outdoor sitting area(my fav) or you may just want to hang in the beautiful kitchen. Each room is complete with it’s own bathroom. It’s perfect walking distance to food and a dozen wineries. Let’s not forget the lovely owner, she’s just a peach.
Alexandria Nicole Cellars TINY HOUSES
Beautiful quite location, perfect for relaxation. We viewed one of them, yes it was tiny but it could easily fit my family. These were featured in HGTV Tiny House Big Living.
Did someone say WINE?
Washington’s Wine Country has plenty of adult activities to enjoy. Prosser provides plenty of Wine & Spirits to explore, taste and enjoy. The area is home to several wineries, vineyards, tasting rooms(with 3 downtown) and annual wine-tasting events. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying many places in Prosser, all unique and beautiful in their own way, very welcoming, so enjoy visiting each. (More on this section coming soon!)

Horse Heaven Hills Saloon – great food and atmosphere every time we’ve been, family friendly
Wine O Clock – they hosted us for lunch and it was amazing! Cute restaurant, open kitchen (which I loved), great atmosphere. Although I did see children and it is a family friendly restaurant I would consider it geared more towards adults.
Jeremy’s Public House – good food, great time, family friendly
What To Do including Family Friendly

Such great info! We have wanted to stop on our way back from Winthrop but didn’t have the chance last time.
