Being an adult comes great responsibility. That sounds like straight out of a movie lol. I’ve technically been an adult for over 10 years but I will say I didn’t really grow up til I started a family of my own. And with a family came insurance, saving money, staying healthy, planning for the future. When it comes to choosing insurance plans for my family and I, I like to do my research to find the best coverage for the best price. I will say there was a time I didn’t do any research and choose the first insurance that came to us and would just continue to renew it because it was easy and quick, and realized how much money we could of been saving for the same coverage or with more coverage.
It’s just amazing that American’s spend more time shopping for a new computer(four hours) then insurance (2014 Aflac Open Enrollment survey found that 41% of employees spent 15 minutes or less researching benefits options during the 2013 Open Enrollment season). This is our lives, our health, our future. You never know what could happen to tomorrow.
What I’m trying to say is spend some time researching your insurance options and benefits, with the money you save you could have a nice fat wallet, or go on that much needed family vacation!
Why Aflac? Aflac is for Business and Individuals. It’s insurance for daily living. It pays cash benefits directly to you, unless otherwise assigned, to help with daily expenses when you’re sick or hurt. Aflac pays you for being healthy and getting preventative care(benefits may not be available in some states though).
Those two things really made me fall for Aflac, helping with daily expenses for when someones sick, being a parent how often do you have to miss work not because your sick but your child is? And then pay you for preventative care, I love this one, we need checkups and I know I skip going to the Dr for myself to save money. Aflac also has life insurance, I strongly believe everyone should have this and you can find it cheap, you truly don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.
4 out of 10 workers waste up to $750 each year on mistakes with their insurance benefits. So, go check out the Aflac Open Enrollment for more information and research your benefits.
