This is the story of our girls day(and Mason) trip. We headed out pretty early, stopping a few places to use the restroom and have something to eat but it took us around 1 1/2 hours each way. Not bad timing!
We knew it was the Sand Castle Festival but it wasn’t too busy when we first got there, when it got later and closer to the time we left it started getting busy. We only checked out the wood carvers for a bit then had to head down to the beach because a toddler can only be good for so long lol. There was a kid who had to be around 13 years old who was a semi pro wood carver, it was amazing. We did get to see 1 sand castle that was a truck, pretty cool. The rest of the sand castles weren’t going to be done til 8 or 9 at night.
Mason got to play in the water for a while, he loved it. Of course we went shopping in the little shops found souvenirs for Mason and Levi, next time I’ll make sure I get myself something too.
Before we left we stopped at an ice cream shop to have a waffle cone, YUMMY!
I had forgotten my camera in the car when we first walked around the town, I wish I had taken more pictures of the trip 🙁
