Slacker #weekendrecap

Hopefully you had a wonderful Easter and enjoying the Spring! Our Spring in the Pacific Northwest feels like it is just beginning, we’ve had a lot of rain this year and I’m just ready for everyday SUNSHINE!! We’ve had a lot going on lately and I feel like I’m just trying to keep up and not exhaust myself. My body is officially in the third trimester which means less and less I can do and with work, just finished Spring break, Easter, Birthdays – I need to rest! Since I slacked on the past two weekends, here’s what we’ve been up to…

9th Birthday : How has it already been 9 years since I gave birth to this booger boy! We had a few days of celebrating this years birthday and next year is two digits! Wow! We brought in cookies and drinks for classmates, brownie for our evening “cake” (when did my kid start hating cake AND frosting?!! he’s so not mine).

Seattle : The day after Mason’s birthday we spent in Seattle with my husbands side of the family. It was a great day, even the weather cooperated. We started out at one of those escape room adventures, which was a ton of fun (anyone know of any near Tacoma?) but sadly we ran out of time before “escaping” even with 9 people. Game works and food was next. Then we took a quick but long walk to Pike Place Market before dinner at Ipanema’s. I love exploring Seattle! Though it would be nice if they had a day parking pass you could purchase. seattle

Great Wolf Lodge : Mason chose to go to GWL for his party this year so we spent a night during Spring Break getting LOADS of exercise. Don’t worry we had loads of fun too! He had a great bday party! great wolf lodge

Spring Break : Spring Break was nice even though we didn’t to do much because I had to work and it lands right in the middle of the day. But we did manage to get out of town for the Seattle day and Great Wolf Lodge so that’s a win. And the weather was pretty rainy for most of the week but that’s Western Washington for ya!

Easter : Pregnancy has really gotten the best of me, I slacked this Easter. Luckily I remembered to get basket fillers, but that was about all. Didn’t take out my decorations, only took these two pictures, we painted eggs right before bed the night before, I did cook a ham dinner for us 3 but we ate on the couch. But it was a Happy Easter and the last one being a family of 3.easter basketeaster egg dye

Did you have a great Easter? How about Spring Break? Did you take a trip somewhere?
