I promise I’m still here but honestly lately I seldom think about blogging. We just have so much going on and have just been enjoying life, actually I’ve noticed a decrease in time spent on facebook lol 🙂
I will share some photos at the end of all my rambling. Don’t worry I can’t see you if you just scroll down to the photos and don’t care what I say 😉
Baseball. Mason’s first game is Saturday, can’t wait to watch. I have to constantly remind myself not to yell for him to pay attention and just laugh about it. that’s what these years are for, watching the child dazing off into space while the ball flies past them and the other team runs all the bases to home. Some day will get serious, but that day just isn’t here yet. I’m not being biased but that kid sure has an arm, almost every single time it goes right where he wants it to and when he first picked up a glove and ball he has always had that “pitchers” throw where the leg goes up(I swear I have no idea where he picked it up, at that time he had only watched the celebrity football/baseball game, maybe he really paid attention to the pitcher I have no idea?!) He just needs to learn to pay attention, he gets bored very easily waiting for some action.
Summer previews. It’s been looking a lot like summer here in Washington, and I LOVE it! Puts me in such a good mood. Although when I went to pull out my summer clothes realized we have been sooo bad this winter with “fast foods”, I barely fit into my shorts 🙁
Dogs. You may have seen me post a photo of the new foster dog this weekend on facebook. It was a hectic weekend to say the least and he went to a different foster home. I feel so bad for the little guy; his human mom died in March and the elderly dad just couldn’t take care of him, they had him for 8 years and none of the other family members would take him. He will have to find the right owners with no children, marks everywhere, he has bad eating habits and begs very bad. On Sunday I sat in the vet for 3 hours with him because of his diet he has numerous gull stones that he has to have surgically removed. Poor guy, I just feel so bad for him!
Audition. Just some news on the talent agency and Mason. His profile has been submitted more than a few times and got an email about one audition for a feature film. We had to really think about the role and wither we’d let Mason audition for it and decided to pass it up. It would have been an amazing opportunity with Viggo Mortenson but we just weren’t comfortable with some of the content Mason would have been reading/saying. Another opportunity will come up.
